The Andy Taylor Group are a young and electrifying trio hailing from the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland.
 
Critically acclaimed as one of the most exciting emerging blues talents in the UK by Blues Matters Magazine, the band has been captivating audiences the length and breadth of the UK and beyond at festivals and venues which include, The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Skegness Great British Rock & Blues Festival, Edinburgh Blues Club and many more.
 
The band’s debut album “Drifting Days” welcomed rave reviews and became the number 1 played album on the IBBA Blues Broadcasters radio stations for the month of January 2020. The band performed later that month on the main stage at Skegness Great British Rock & Blues Festival alongside Dr Feelgood, Bernie Marsden, Savoy Brown, The Animals and more.
Andy’s virtuoso guitar playing and irresistible husky self-penned tunes ooze the influence of Hendrix, Gallagher and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Andy is joined by a powerhouse rhythm section of childhood friends, Dylan Pepper (Slack Alice) on drums and Marcus Cordock (The Bay City Rollers) on bass.
